Restaurant Agriturismo Li Sciappeddi | Telti
Of course you also want to eat an original Sardinian meal in Sardinia. So we visited the Agriturismo Li Sciappeddi restaurant in Telti. Actually, we were already full after the extensive starters. We were served fried zucchinis, homemade ham and many other delicacies. The obligatory suckling pig was then served as the main course. This was not everyone’s cup of tea, as it is very greasy. The crispy crust was very popular. We had to pass on dessert. Nothing worked anymore. But we still gratefully accepted the coffee and the local schnapps.
In addition to the large indoor area, there is a large beautiful garden where you can dine. The restaurant is quite expensive, which you wouldn’t expect in the countryside. Looking into the kitchen, you can see elderly Sardinian ladies who are probably preparing the food according to recipes handed down by their grandmothers.
The service was very attentive and very nice – with little understanding that you didn’t eat everything. Grandma in the kitchen doesn’t like that at all. It’s very informal there and we had a lovely Sardinian evening.
